Are You Receiving Emails and your Daily Digest from WhatNext?

    Hey Everyone,

We know many of you have been experiencing issues not receiving emails from us.The problem is some of the ISPs particularly AOL and Century Link think our emails are spam and thus they are blocking them.We are currently working with the ISPs to try to resolve this problem, but it takes time.

With your help we might be able to resolve the issue quicker. Here is how you can help.

    * Check you spam filter. If you see an email from WhatNext.com, be sure to flag it as not being Spam. This will let your ISP know you want to receive emails from us.

    * If you no longer want to receive emails from us please don’t flag our emails as Spam but rather click the unsubscribe link in any of the emails or send us an email at Email us at WhatNext.com

    * If you are an AOL user please click the link AOL Customer Support and copy and paste the sentences below into the description box.

=Please do not block emails from whatnext.com.I would like to receive emails from them.==

I am receiving the emails as well. My ISP is Comcast and they can be real pills about blocking legitimate emails (but spam still makes it through).

This is a problem a lot of internet communities have. Anything that looks like a bulk mailing gets flagged. Also, if your server is being used by a spammer then you might get blocked along with the spammer.

Lynn, I just sent you an email to see if you receive it, the first of testing your account. We will get you figured out!

Thanks, check your email and answer if you got it.

Well technically they are spam. Spam is defined as receiving multiple emails from the same address with the same subject and/or content. But I guess my ISP is pretty tolerant because I am still get way more emails than I want to get.

I get dozens of emails every day from [email redacted] notifying me everytime somebody clicks "like" on any of my posts. There is no unsubscribe link in any of those emails.

It would be helpful if you could subscribe or unsubscribe to different types of emails, but the account options seem to be all or nothing. I do want a periodic What's Next digest and I do want notifications for responses to threads which I am following, but if I say yes to that, I get a bunch more that I don't want, like "likes", posts to my wall, etc. that duplicate what is in the digest.

Nancy, the developers are working on several improvements daily. Thats one I have heard before suggested, I will pass it along also.

      Thanks for the Input.

I get both the digest and notifications where some one has liked an answer or posted a response or on my wall. I kind of like knowing when an answer is liked so I have to check each like notification e-mail. It would be nice if we could see a summary of who likes each answer. It might be nice if we could see why people like answers as it could help us provide better answers.

I am not receiving a daily digest. I ask questions and send updates but rarely hear from anyone directly.
