My husband is in stage 4 renal cell and has become a different person lately. Does anyone have experience with the patient treating his spouse awful?

My dad was just horrible towards the end of his fight. And he took it all out on my mom, like it was her fault that he had pancreatic cancer and was dying. And then he got real quiet and that was generally the end. Hospice came in on Friday and early Sunday morning, he was gone.
I hope I didn't scare you by this but sometimes, this happens. Cancer Sucks!

ConBir Just so sorry you have to go thru this. Remember, it's not the real him. He's sick and when I don't feel good, I get grumpy too.

My husband was the same and my daughters tried to get him to be nicer to me. He became very dependent on me shortly before he passed and I lost him on 1/14/16 and, while it was tough while he was sick, I would give anything to have him in the room again with me. I am so glad he is out of pain which was excruciating for him, but I miss him terribly.
