Hi all, new to this. Has anyone had good results with MD Anderson in Houston or Cancer Treatment Center in Tulsa?

Welcome, you will enjoy interacting on this site...it is a wonderful place to ask questions, get support, vent frustration, no one here judges...you will get lots of responses regarding MD Anderson and Cancer Tx Center in Tulsa as I have seen responses from people here about those very places...I did my treatments for breast cancer at Dana Farber in Boston as did my husband for his prostate cancer a year after my diagnosis...we are so blessed in this country to have these wonderful centers of learning and caring and treatment...I remember my surgeon telling me about MD Anderson and some of the advances coming out of there for breast, and I am sure, other cancers...I wish you good luck and God bless!

MD Anderson is one of if not the top cancer research center in the world so you can't really go wrong there. Cancer Treatment Centers of America has gotten mixed reviews here. They apparently have some practices that try and limit your ability to seek other opinions and options. I would recommend not doing anything that limits your options. There are some places offering virtual appointments for consultation where you see the high power Dr either via teleconference on in person but you can get the treatment they direct at your local hospital or cancer center. This helps limit the need for travel and being away from home for long periods. Good Luck!

MD Anderson is the Top cancer center in the World. There is no comparison between them and cancer treatment center of America. None.
You always want an NCI designated cancer treatment facility.
