(As always, check with your doc but) I made it through with Claritin D, Percocet and a heating pad. Hope you feels better soon.

Debbie is right on with that answer. I recommend Claritin to all my patients. Good luck with this issue, Carm RN.

I took a Claritin in the AM and a Benedryl at bedtime. They seemed to work fairly well. My oncologist suggested this.. for the pain of neulasta shots... when my bones started cranking out white blood cells... ouch.l

My nurse case mgr told me CLaritin only works if you get Neulasta or Neupogen. When I had severe pain and didn't have either of the white blood treatments, she was at a loss. Lived on Norco for 2 days after each chemo session.

I was on Tylex and then Oxycodone during Taxol, so I didn't feel much pain. It was almost like a severe flu. I felt relieved then I took a good hot shower.

I didn't really get relief from joint pain but I found that if I walked a little the leg cramps would get better.

Thank you all for the tip about claritin in the morning and benadryl at night. I am going to try those.
