my husband had a lump. turned out it was an enlarged gland that normally happens in teen-aged boys. (he was about 50 at the time). but he had a mammogram (you should have seen them clear the room & get him ahead of the waiting women when it was realized he was the patient & not me. :-) he had a day surgery to remove the gland and it was sent to pathology as an extra measure.

but the usual signs as already noted below.

My buddy found a lump... and ended up having a double mastectomy plus chemo. He did the double because he turned out to be BRCA positive. Have you been diagnosed? A friend or parnter perhaps? Good luck... Ask us more questions, if you've got them!

Thank you all. I will keep you all posted. My wife just had a mastectomy and diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, (IDC). She goes to cancer doctor on the 24th to start chemo. I have not had mine checked as of yet, plan on talking to my doctor next month. I had my wife check my left breast and she felt something and it is also very tender to touch. Pray for us that mine is just something simple. You all are in our prayers.
