    Breast cancer matastic to bone I had a rod placed in my hip all the way to my knee. It feels like I'm draging a sac of bricks around.

    Any body have any ideas on relief?

      The best thing for bone cancer pain is Ibuprofen. Try it to see if it helps, Carm RN.

      You can take up to 4 Ibuprofen or 800 mg and 2 Tylenol at one time every 8 hours. It sounds like you are also having a problem with a little extra weight from the rod or maybe you are a little week from the treatmeant. As soon as you are able you can strengthen your legs with leg lifts or a small weight.
