You poor kid, really in the thick of it. If there is a drug store nearby, you can buy a mouthwash type rinse called UlcerEase; I think it is sold at Walgreens. Many patients tell me it works with that burning issue on the tongue or tip of the tongue. Chew on some crushed ice and also get a spray of Binaca Blast. The cool mint will help with the burning sensation. If it continues on your doctor should be able to give you some gel, viscous lidocaine or even a tube of Baby Dentapain OTC will numb the burning for some quick releif. You have earned your stripes my dear. Get better soon, Carm RN.

Sorry your having that side effect, I can't help with a solution, I never had that one. Seems I had everything else.

      Hope Carm's suggestion works.
