Calcifications formed after surgery 3 years later - has any one else have this happen?

The doctors told me this is normal to happen. They are having me come back to check the area to make sure none of the calcifications change into cancer. Is this normal ? I was told this happens after a lumpectomy sometimes, I'm now suppose to go back every six months for a mammogram for two years . No biopsy on calcifications because doctor said he wasn't concerned because they looked ok on mammogram.

I had calcification for years. When they found the tumors they knew the difference right away.

These calcifications are they normal and ok to have after having a lumpectomy? Do they mean cancer is gonna regrow in this area? I live in fear of the unknown, I have been tramitized by my past diagnosis. I don't want to live in fear anymore. Please help me with answers. Thank you all
