Cancer Experience #2 -- Very interested in Prevention

Anybody doing any alternative approaches? Bill Henderson? Joanna Budwig? This is my 2nd time around and I am more interested in avoiding #3 with preventative methods than I am worried about my present bout with breast cancer (which I just had surgery on 10 days ago)

I am using alternative therapies along with western (aleopathic) methods. Herbs, homeopathic, frequency specific microcurrent, acupuncture, but most of all diet. I am not familiar with any of the practitioners you mention. But I am interested.

I am interested also. I've down loaded books on eating right to fight cancer. I've also started juicing. I am trying to find out what is available in the area for alternative approaches.

How's your BMI? Not alternative, but scientific studies, have shown that a lower (healthy range) body mass index (weight) correlates with lower recurrence. So, if you need to, weight loss will help.

On the alternative front, I like the "Eat to Live" diet that Dr Furhman endorses. I find it difficult to do all he advises, but I figure eating more vegetables and fruits will not hurt.
