    Cancer Has Returned

Well gang as it turns out I now have stomach cancer. I had surgery on March 27th. They removed 25% of my stomach and part of my small intestine, and then reconnected my small intestine back into my stomach at a different location. I was released from the hospital on April 5th. No radiation or chemo at this point. I am in considerable pain, but getting better. I walk around the block every day to keep myself in good shape. I beat pancreatic cancer 18 years ago, and will beat this as well. Thank you for all of your prayers...my best to all of you, Russ

Well I ended back in the hospital...too much too soon with all this walking. Home now, but will take this one a little slower. I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. As it turns out I had an infection, and on antibiotics for now. Will see my GP next week, and then the surgeon in 2-3 weeks for a scan to see how things look inside. We haven't talked about treatments yet, but I know he is against radiation. I will try to keep all of you up to date as time goes by. Thank you again, and my best to all of you...Russ
