    Cancer Has Returned

Well gang as it turns out I now have stomach cancer. I had surgery on March 27th. They removed 25% of my stomach and part of my small intestine, and then reconnected my small intestine back into my stomach at a different location. I was released from the hospital on April 5th. No radiation or chemo at this point. I am in considerable pain, but getting better. I walk around the block every day to keep myself in good shape. I beat pancreatic cancer 18 years ago, and will beat this as well. Thank you for all of your prayers...my best to all of you, Russ

Russ I am sorry to hear you have stomach cancer now! I think you have the right idea with those walks. I empathize with you because I just found out I have a secondary cancer in my kidney when I went on for scan results yesterday.
I'm on the floor for a bit wrapping my head around it, but soon I'll be back up on my feet so I can fight. I think I will add walking my dogs as part of my fight so I can stay fit like you are. We can't let that beast win!

      Good luck!

Russ, I’m so sorry you now have to deal with a new cancer. I send you my best wishes that your pain lessens greatly or goes away completely, and that you will beat this mofo just as you beat pancreatic cancer.
