Chances of coming out without a colostomy bag perm or temp

I am suppose to be having a lot done and have to say I wonder about my quality of life afterwards. would I be better off taking it and just letting god take care of it as I do have some good days and the bad I can handle and life is awesome right now with my family and grandkids and afraid of losing that special bound we have and share.

My brother-in-law had a colostomy bag for 6 months (not cancer), and he had it reversed. I know it sounds embarassing, but I think you can do most things with the bag.

      riverratttt47w,
A colostomy can be internalized if need be and is often done once the determination is made that it remain permanent. I am attaching a link for you to peruse. I hope this can help answer your question and bring a sence of peace of mind back to your center. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.
