    CONGRATULATIONS, WHAT NEXT!

"@whatnext_cancer — Congrats, you've been nominated for Best in Show: Community #WEGOHealthAwards"

@GregP_WN, we all know you are an Awesome Moderator. I'm thrilled to see that others know, too. Kudos to you and the whole WN crew!

    From the WEGO Health site:

"WEGO Health is a mission-driven company connecting healthcare with the experience, skills and insights of Patient Leaders.

"We are the world’s largest network of over 100k Patient Leaders, working across virtually all health conditions and topics. Our network collaborates with pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, agencies, consultancies, startups and all types of organizations across healthcare."

I went to WEGO to try to also nominate WhatNext, but I'm a little confused. Can someone walk me through it? I imagine there are a number of us here who would nominate this forum so that maybe it will win the award...

Greg, do we nominate you, rather than the site? And, there are a bunch of areas to choose from. I found community or something near the bottom and figured that was the right one, but when I clicked on it, it wanted a lot of information I wasn't sure I had. So, I clicked away without making a nomination. I'll go try again.

I tried. Let me know if you get an email saying you were nominated, Greg! If you don't, I must have done something wrong (surprise, surprise).

I got a kick out of this. When I hit "nominate", the site asks if I want to join it.

      Choices:

Yes, I want to earn money, connect with other Patient leaders, and change healthcare.

      or

No thanks. I don't want to improve healthcare.

      Well, heck.

Yeah, this site has truly been a life saver-cancer can be a soul crushing event, but the support provided here gives hope and inspires. Know hard work to keep this a balanced positive site-especially wonderful when so many in this nation are so contentious. Thank-you!

Apparently, I didn't understand this when I received the notice of being nominated. It is ME who was nominated for being a "Patient Leader". According to WEGO Health: "A Patient Leader uses his or her own health journey to raise awareness, to share knowledge, and to help others. They leverage social media to amplify their voice, to connect with peers, and to build communities. Patient Leaders are the thought leaders and transformers that industry leaders turn to for insights and expertise when they need to build a more patient-centered, consumer-driven healthcare ecosystem."

So, you are endorsing me, for being the Community Manager for WhatNext. You don't have to nominate anymore since that was done by someone already. But endorsements are needed. Go to the link here>>https://awards.wegohealth.com/nominees/14288 and click on the endorse link.

In reality, you are endorsing WhatNext by doing this, we are basically one in the same. And we/I thank you for that. We are just happy to get some National recognition for the site and the support that our family provides for all of us that need it.

Just a bit of information about a little glitch in the site. I am not able to comment on any post that has more than 15 posts on it. For some reason after a thread gets long, ONLY ME, can't post on it anymore. Tech is trying to figure that one out. I tried to post this on Ejourney's post about WhatNext and I being nominated, but it wouldn't post. I am using my personal account here so I can post.

      So here it is:
