    Contemplating a push for her2 status and a revisit to tamoxifen?

    Dcis dx high grade, comedo type er and pr pos with luminal necrosis. Bilateral mast 3/12.

      Are you saying that you might have to redo the tamoxifen treatment? Please explain the second sentence so you can get better support from others.

      I'm gonna guess that you don't know your her2 status. The problem is that they need cancer cells in order to perform that test. It's possible they performed that test, but that you did not receive the result. Ask for your pathology report!

      Your "revisit tamoxifen" - I'm guessing that you are on this drug because you are er/pr+. Are you thinking about not taking the drug?

      DCIS means early stage.

      I also did a bilateral mastectomy - about one month before yours. How has your recovery been? Mine has gone very well.
