Cryosurgery for prostate cancer? Anyone under when this treatment?

i was wondering if anyone here had under gone cryosurgery (freezing of the prostate gland) as a treatment for prostate cancer and what their experiences where with it. i was told i had prostate cancer in 2009 and under when external beam radiation and had the seeds inplanted also, but now in 2012 i had my routine PSA test and it shows the cancer is back. My doctors is now recommending cryosurgery as the next step in fighting this . Anyone have and experiences or thoughts they would like to share Thanks Steve

hello ushawk. I have a good friend that I work with that had cryosurgery for his pc about a year ago. I will talk to him Wednesday and find out what I can. I will post here or send the info to you at your email, whichever you want. Also, you might want to check out the following supplements. Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP). It is showing some promise in slowing or stopping cancer metastisis. The American Cancer Society has some info on MCP on their web site. The other is Beta 1,3 Glucans which is showing promise as an immune system booster.
