Did you see the commercial for Hyundai during the super bowl?

They donate to childhood cancer with every new car sold. It's a large program. It was a touching commercial. Here it is on NBC http://www.nbcsports.com/video/super-bowl-hyundai-buyers-save-lives-donations-cancer-research

Our company has a customer whose child has cancer and has benefitted from Hyundai's program. They sold their cars and bought new Hyundais.

While what they are doing is truly wonderful, there were several of us at our party that discussed how upset we are at all these commercials regarding cancer. It just reminds me of a part of my life that I don't want to be reminded of every time I turn on the tv. Does anyone else feel like that? Maybe I should start a new thread regarding this.

I participated in a survivor study through Mass General and this was one thing I expressed to them. Seeing all these commercials regarding cancer treatments, drugs, hospitals, etc. really upset me and I have to turn away or leave the room when they show patients receiving treatment or going through tests. Sorry, just a really sore subject for me.

IKickedI...... Did you ever notice how many ads for all sorts of diseases & various ills are on TV in the evening? Maybe 90% medical stuff on the 6:30 news, and the same ones over & over & over!
We either turn it off or watch PBS anymore. That'll fix 'em!
