Did your incision get sore during radiation?

My incision is getting a little red and sore! This is day 7 of 33 treatments! Do you have any suggestions on what to put on it? I bought some aloe vera to use! Thanks!

I burned so badly that my skin tore under my arm. The Dr told me to use Cordizone Cream but it didn't help enough so he prescribed me with a cream in a blue jar. Sorry, can't remember the name of it but it was a miracle!!!!! Tell the Dr it's in a blue jar and he should know it! I applied it on real thick and bandaged my chest and underarm until the skin stopped taring.

Yes, it was sore during radiation and the aloe vera helped a great deal. Once the radiation was completed, I used Eucerin Aquafor (white jar with blue cap) to keep the blisters and reddened area coated until the peeling stopped. Be sure to have air circulating around the area as much as possible.

ask the doc for lotion. They (or the nurses) usually have some tubes stashed away, or they can prescribe something.
