I'm not sure about the wrist band but I can speak on regular acupuncture. The "sickness" (poisoned feeling) from the chemo and nausea were really bad for me. My Grandmother kept on me about trying acupuncture. I spoke with Oncologist about it and he said to go for it. This was a week prior to my last round. It turned out to be the easiest treatment week of the entire 12 week process. Now, I can’t tell you with absolute certainty that the acupuncture worked but I can tell you that I called my Oncologist and told him I didn't feel very bad and was concerned the chemo wasn't working. He assured me everything was fine. So, did acupuncture make my last chemo week easier??? Maybe…. But a week later the nausea hit me pretty hard but I had Zofran for that...lol.

There are many drugs to help you..Make sure you tell your Onc. so they can address it. Also try ginger candy..the ginger people have a great line of hard candy and ginger is a natural for the stomach. Also make sure you stay hydrated.
