Yes, however, I got a prescription for Latisse because I wanted to speed up the process for my eyelashes. Losing my eyelashes bothered me way more than losing the hair on my head.

A rather interesting tidbit here. The hair under my arms never grew back, or on my chest. I had chemo and radiation 24 years ago, still no hair there. But my head hair grew back twice.

The friends that I have who had chemo (many many friends) all of them had the facial hair grow back. I never asked about the other body hair, it never occurred to me.

My hair on my head grew back a bit thinner and less wavy so I've got longer hair for the first time in my entire life! Eyelashes are much thinner than they used to be. Now have to use mascara for the first time in my life! Thinking about it, my other body hair also grew back thinner, too.

Everything but my armpit hair grew back but that was no loss:) I think my hair is thinner, also my eyebrows, but also that seems to be an effect of getting older. I am 70.

My eyelashes fell out and grew back in about every two weeks for a while but then they stayed in.

My eyebrows and eyelashes were the last to go and the first to come back. Both came back nice and full as before. If you think how short these hairs are compared to the ones on your head, you understand why it can take relatively short time for them to be fully restored.

Had cancer when I was 10 and my eyebrows and lashes never grew back to full capacity. And sideburns never grew back.

Yes eyelashes and eyebrows may grow back after chemo because its just the hairs and we know that hairs can be grown back easily without any side effects at all....There are many natural ways also by which you can make your eyelashes grow....Some of them are:
      Apply Vaseline to eyelashes.
      Eat healthy diet.
      Sleep proper.
      Take proper vitamins.

I think it depends on the individual, and on the chemo. After nine chemo treatments I have no armpit hair, no eyebrows and very sparse eyelashes. This is two years on. Growth of head hair has been slow and sporadic but it looks quite nice. I had four hairs appear on one shin recently, which was a surprise as I never had leg hair before!

The simple suggestion is to put a thin layer of Vaseline or Aquaphor over your lids at night and use quality eyelash enhancer that help to grow eyelashes longer and fuller. http://tiny.cc/kyhqmx
