Acupuncture has been shown to help with many symptoms including anxiety, pain, insomnia, and depression. Consult a certified acupuncturist in your area for information about help with hot flashes, but in the meantime, ask your doctor about ways to decrease them.

I have several friends who say yes. "It takes several treatments and some time, but it helps."

Obviously there is risk with just about any procedure - that said, acupunture is very popular where I live and I have also been considering it as future treatment. Might be a few months until I get started based on healing time from surgery and financial obligations. I agree, I have heard it can take a little time to see changes. Finding reputable acupunturist would be my first goal, and if I am lucky maybe I can find a referral from someone i know. Best of luck and please let me know how it goes if you get to it first. Aloha~
