I had to take prednisone for several months after my surgery. I felt great..Had lots of energy and it quickly cleared up liguid that had collected in my chest...But..I blew up..My face and neck became huge.In fact I was so nervous about my neck I thought it was my Lymph nodes..Nope it was FAT. I gained 35 pounds in three months..granted I was eating a bit more but not that much. And it takes many months for all the side effects to go away..but it does do tremendous things for the body when you need it to. I only took 1/2 of what was prescribed because I knew the side effects and my Dr. was o.k. with that.

CAS1, no I don't. I often leave the WhatNext Question window open in my browser and periodically refresh it and respond to any new questions when I can.

Pednisone is .... well.... amazing. I felt great... like I could do ANYTHING. But apparently, I was ... well... not so nice while taking it. It also cause insomnia for me. Ask your docs about potential side effects etc... I don't know if that helps... but good luck!
