I had flu-like symptoms from Rituxan--at least initially. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms.

I was given a mild sleeping pill for the 1st week after my treatments, so I slept through the night.
The hot flashes were pretty annoying, I also took hormone pills, and was constantly opening and shutting windows.

My Doctor said he would give me a prescription for sleeping pills, but I just used Benadryl PM. It did not work very good. I should have used sleeping pills. Talk to your doctor. The hot flashes, were annoying. Not much to solve that problem except open and close windows!

Lucky you - you get hormones!!! I've also had breast cancer so no hormones for me. Yes, Sleep is never easy! I often found myself lying awake. I also have infusions of Rituxen by itself for my RA. I suggest keeping some Benadryl handy - non habit forming and quite effective at making you sleepy. For emergencies I have some Xanex. I think the Rituxen contributes to some wild dreams which can wake me up? Several of my friends take a sleeping aid.

My daughter has suggested yoga and meditation - she may be on to something :-)
      Good luck and sweet dreams.

I didnt take Rituxin, but I did have Lupron, and suffered the same symptoms - hot flashes and insomnia. There were nights I couldnt sleep until 4 or 5 in the morning...other nights I would wake up at 3 or 4....I got a low dose of Ambien and it helped a great deal....didnt knock me out, but I guess it turned the brain off and let me sleep soundly...as far as the flashes, I didnt find anything that worked....I carried a handkerchief at all times....

I take medical cannabis and Ativan in the evenings: one bite of a cannabis cookie and 1/2 an Ativan pill, and I sleep all night. Otherwise, not.
