    Does Herceptin slow hair growth?

Was reading on here how someone had 4 inches of hair 8 months post chemo. It took me at least a year to get there, wonder if the Herceptin I was on slowed growth?

No. How fast your hair grows will be the same before and after cancer treatment. It is mostly genetic. Average hair growth is about 1/2 inch/month. But many people have faster or slower growing hair. I had a year of herceptin infusions and my last chemo in late March. My hair is is about 4 inches long as well.

I am on Herceptin and my hair is growing very slow. My hair used to grow faster than average. It grew so much faster than average that getting my hair cut in a style I liked was a problem because it would grow out so fast.
