      Yes it does sister.....Yes it does, and if you have a problem with the approval then that is unethical. No one should deny you the right of verification. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.

      I work in the field of medical insurance. Very few of our clients do NOT allow 2nd opinions, plus most will also allow a 3rd opinion. Your best bet is to give your insurance company a call. Customer service should be able to verify and explain exactly how it would be covered.

      I think Second Opinions are usually required benefits, but you should check with your carrier.

      Thanks for the information I checked and they will cover another opinion. I'm thinking I will have someone else take a look at my records.
