Does squamous cell carcinoma have a high recurrence rate?

Hi Sunnysideup, I have only had one squamous cell carcinoma and it was removed with Mohs surgery. As part of my melanoma treatment I have a dermatological exam every twelve weeks and at each exam, a close look is always given to the area where the squamous was removed. I have also found that the Skin Cancer Foundation has a good web site that is for all kinds of skin cancer. Following is a link that addresses recurrence of squamous cell.
