    Dye hair

    Can I dye my hair the night before first treatment

      I wouldn't. It may be okay, but why put dye into your system right before putting other poisons in? That's just me. I don't think it is recommended that you dye your hair while undergoing treatments either.

      I wouldn't either. I would also ask my doctors before doing anything like this.

      Your are going to get a lot of chemicals into your bloodstream. You dont need more.

      I did not color my hair when I was treating either. When it was all over, my hairdresser, 6'2" of man in a dress and wig, put his arms around me and said "Dont worry. We can fix this."

      And he did.

      I'd wait, too. Granted, I didn't color before chemo, but I wait about 8 months after the end of treatment before I highlighted my hair. Plus, depending on what kind of drugs you get, you could lose your hair anyway.
