you'll need to ask your doc - there are thresholds for each of the receptors that determine your status.
i'm triple negative... which means that the receptors for estrogen, progesteron, and her2 were all below the thresholds.
the good news is that triple negative is more sensitive to chemo... the bad news is that it tends to be more aggressive.
the thing to do is to ask your doc exactly this question. take a list of questions with you to your next appointment. my doc took the time to answer every one of my questions - patiently. then, i was able to do more focused research.. .. which resulted in new questions... which he again answered with patience and compassion.
best wishes - i'm sorry you are dealing with breast cancer.
