    Experiance Daratumumab treatment

On 12/17 I will have my first infusion of Daratumumab. On top of this, I am currently in cardio rehab due to my 10/6 heart attack. I would really appreciate hearing from people who have been or are being, treated with Daratumumab. What side effects during infusion and any afterwards?
I know everyone is different but I just want to understand what people have gone through.
    Thanks
    Charles

Good to hear from you both! I had # 4 yesterday and am off chemo for 7 days so cycle 2 starts next Monday. Dr called this am and I am very neutropenic so are lowering dosage. And guess I have to be a bubble girl! Nice time of year for that. Treatment was ok in and out in 5 hours and luckily my son was there for awhile and could take me to my daughters.
Hope all goes well tomorrow Charlie. Bring plenty to do or take naps. I read, watched tv and napped.
Miriam hope it’s easier for you now. Take care and keep us up to date!!
      Merry Christmas all.

Lynn and Miriam, I just started another question called "Sharing the Journey of daratumumab (DARZALEX®)". As I stated in it, I hope that it will become the goto question for people who are considering this treatment. I made reference to this question, but I thought we all could start sharing on the new question as this one is getting long.

I may have been a little winded, but I hope there is good info. Lynn, I was too strung out on Benadryl and steroids' to focus on anything but I did bring my computer. Maybe you can curl up in front of a fire for Christmas.

Miriam, we have to have a sense of humor to get through this. Hope to "see" you two on the new post.

Love and appreciate for the both of you.
