    Eye brow growth

My eyebrows are still very sparse and its been 10 months since my last chemo. Is there anything safe to take to help my brows grow?

MSM seems to help my hair grow and especially my eyebrows and eyelashes. If I were you I would take about 1500 mg a day, and I would start that quickly because the longer you wait the harder it will be to trigger growth. But you might want to see a dermatologist as well, that specialty is usually the best one to help patients with hair loss. Good luck and God bless!

I take biotin and MSM daily. I also take vitamin E. My hair has come back thicker and curly everywhere (including on my nose...wth?) except my eyebrows. They look like little Charlie Chaplin mustaches above my eyes. I use a powder and brush to fill them in otherwise I walk around with angry eyes. I would check about getting the prescription for eyelash and eyebrow hair growth. Hopefully that will do the trick for you. If not Clinique eyebrow powder is great. Most people do not know I have stubby eyebrows.

It has been 3 months for me and I take Biotin too. The inner 1/2 of my eyebrows has come back but I'm still pencilling and powdering in the outer half. Even my daughter didn't realize it until I told her. I can live with what I have as long as my eyelashes keep growing. I wish you the best.

My eyebrows were very thick before chemo and are back but thinner now that I am 8 months out of chemo. I'm not bothered by it, as I went from having my father's very full eyebrows to having my mother's thinner eyebrows that don't need tweezers. the hair on my head is back in full force now, and everything from the neck down is not quite as thick as it was before. HUGS and God bless!

I take "Hair, Skin & Nails" every day. My hair and nails are in great condition, but my eyebrows are thinner than before. My big gripe is my eyelashes have not grown back, but I can live with that. I've only been taking it a few months so maybe my eyelashes will still grow back.

I never lost my eyebrows/eyelashes during chemo. I was thankful for that, didn't make me look as sick. I hope yours come back. My hair is rich, thick, and healthier than ever.

I lost most of my brows. It's been about 12 weeks and they are growing back in, but paler and softer, finer hairs. I don't think they are as 'wide', or in this case as 'tall' as they were, since 'thick' here would suggest something else, so I think it may take some time for them to fill back in to the original shape. I'm not taking anything, or doing anything.....except some fuming every time I pencil and powder to make them show up.

Hello Bunny. I hate the white rabbit look, so I got a prescription for Latisse from my plastic surgeon, I'm using it on my lashes and brows. It's expensive, but it works. Five weeks out from chemo and they're starting to come back strong. I do not use the brushes that come with the kit, but some fine disposable eyeliner brushes I got on Ebay and use only 1 drop each night. Hope this helps!

Hi! I also use Lattisse and it's been 6 weeks and my eyebrows and eyelashes are grown back. It works so well I had to stop applying it in my eyebrows! I had lost both, eyebrows and eyelashes, not completely but a lot, and the eyelashes were worst. Like I said they are back :) and I still apply it but now only for eyelashes until I finish the 3 months supply I bought. Good spirits and stay strong! My mantra "mind over body" has work wonders for not letting negative thoughts or feelings get in the way of my recovery. Wish all the best! Love & light ❤️✨

My daughter bought me a tube of RevitaBrow Advanced worked really well. You use it once a day and I actually have eyebrows now. She's a hairdresser so I don't know what company she bought it from-the box says revitalash.com.I've used it for 3 months and now need a new tube-I'd recomend it..
