Eyesight and chemo?
Asked by Bellamore on Thursday, July 26, 2012
Eyesight and chemo?
I've been getting chemo since December and I think my eyesight is getting blurrier. I wear trifocals as it is, so I always have a bit of distortion in my eyesight, But I think since chemo it's gotten worse. Am I just imagining this or can chemo distort your eyesight?

I did not have any change in eyesight, one of the only things that I don't think changed.

Yup. mine got worse. I've been wanting to get glasses but I'm going to wait until I'm done with all this treatment to see if my vision goes back to what it used to be.

My eyesight has definitely changed in the past two years. Not a lot, but during chemo, I would have issues with vision and friends would tell me my pupils were dialated. Now that would be for several hours after treatment and it would return to 'normal'. You are not alone.
