Fast heart rate in cold weather

Did anybody ever experience a fast rate outdoors in cold weather? I was told this was a normal side effect of FOLFOX.

That's interesting, both Sutent and Afintor caused me to have a slow heart rate.

Your heart rate goes up in cold weather whether your are taking drugs or not.

Drink plenty of fluids. This helps to increase your plasma volume and will lower your heart rate. If you feel, actually feel your heart racing, try a good cough, a vagal maneuver to reset your rhythm. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.

My heart was racing during chemo (Dec. 2011 - April 2012) and the doctor couldn't determine if it was Taxotere or withdraw from the steroid. I don't think it was the outdoor temperatures in my case.
