    Favorite driving gloves

I know it's now spring, but it's still super cold in the mornings. Does anyone have a favorite brand of driving gloves they can recommend for those of us who don't have heated steering wheels yet?

Hi, I'm Aliza, a BC patient and a Medical Librarian (retired) who offers referrals and research for folks on this site and elsewhere.

I never got around to getting a good pair of gloves for myself this winter (had my mastectomy in December and two post-op infections). Am ok now, or more than ok. Am cancer free for 4 months and don't need chemo. YAY!!

Now re your gloves-as a girl who used to spend summers in Maine, I'm going to recommend that you check out llbean.com. I love thinsulate-lined gloves myself (I tend to run on the cold side myself and that was before I had a tissue expander inserted into my chest that holds saline solution -which makes me feel very cold out there when the temperature dips [pre-reconstruction measure for implants]).

The other place I've seen beautiful driving gloves is the Hammacher Schlemmer catalogue, however their gloves are strictly "driving gloves" I believe in the sense that they are gorgeous leather, but not lined from what I recall, but you may wish to check them out online as well.

Then there's Lands End, which I didn't check this winter, but may have a perfectly adequate array of gloves suitable for driving and lined.

Best of luck in your quest for the perfect driving glove...;)

I love Isotoners. I have 3-4 pairs and will often times weqar them under a heavy winter glove. Now they come with smart fingers so you don't have to take them off to use your electronics.
And they are cheap and wash beautifully
