FDA Approves Xpovio Combo for Heavily Treated RRMM Patients

Good news for some MM patients - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved — with conditions — Xpovio (selinexor) tablets, in combination with the corticosteroid dexamethasone, for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who received at least four prior therapies and failed to respond to treatment. The combo is designed for patients whose disease is resistant to several other forms of treatment, including at least two proteasome inhibitors, two immunomodulatory agents, and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody.
