I just had mine done 2days ago. I do have drains but only for a few days. So far I feel soooo much better than original surgery. And what a relief to be rid of those tissue expanders! Can't wait to actually see the results. Did you have your surgery yet? Good luck I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

      Kkkkk,

I am st for my final implants tommorrow March, 19. I too will be glad to be rid of my rock quarry aka expanders. You said you can,t wait to see the results. Does that mean they bind you up and if so for how long. So you are not experiencing the pain? I was blessed not to have chemist or radiation but it still is a long process. THANKS

I did not have drains with the final implant surgery. There was a weight limitation for a week or 2 but don't remember other restrictions. I will be celebrating my 5 yrs tomorrow Mar 19. Back to your question, it's a piece of cake after what you've already been through.

3 days post surgery. This is NOTHING compared to first time (mastectomy). Just some discomfort from drains. I have bandages and surgical bra that will be removed Thursday with the drains.I didn't even take any pain medication today. I also didn't need chemo or radiation and this is my last surgery too. I hope all went well with you and you are amazed at the softness. My initial surgery was in September so I totally get the long process comment and can't wait until this is all behind me! According to my Dr. most restrictions will be lifted once the drains come out(3 more days). Good luck with everything.
