Finished treatments for stage 111C endometrial cancer. PET scan shows I may have cancer now in my descending colon.

I feel as scared as I did back in December when I was first diagnosed.
How do I stop this from consuming me?

My pet scan also showed a hot spot in my colon. My Dr.s said they weren't concerned with it now, they would deal with it after my main surgery. I had squamous cell carcinoma of right tonsil. Fine for them to say, right? I'm the one with the glowing colon. After two surgeries on my neck and throat, I had a colonoscpy, the hot spot was a "pre-cancerous" polup. Pulled it out during the scope, nothing more done.
Hopefully, yours will be the same. Best of luck to you, try to not worry about the bad what if's until it's acually a bad deal. That only consumes time and energy.

I have a friend who recommended having a little word with God saying that I am relinquishing all control to him and asking him to bless the doctors/staff/nurses/technicians, etc. in the OR/hospital/doctor's office. Just empty your mind and let God take over.

I just keep saying my mantra over and over..............Thank you Lord for keeping me safe and strong (helping me to deal with this) and thank you for my friends.
