    Folic acid vs. folate. Which one is more natural with more results in your diet?

      Folate and folic acid are forms of a water-soluble B vitamin. Folate occurs naturally in food, and folic acid is the synthetic form of this vitamin. Food sources of folate include fortified or whole grain cereals, leafy vegetables, fruits, legumes, yeast, mushrooms, and organ meats.
