I'd be interested in knowing the rationale behind avoiding raw foods. My husband's doctor told him to eat what tastes good to him during treatment. He has naturally gravitated toward a balanced, healthy diet. Sweets and fatty foods do not appeal to him now. I have read that sugar feeds cancer, but I haven't seen research that supports that. I have also read that drinking a lot of soda increases your risk of pancreatic cancer. I don't know if that is empirically based or not.
