I would do the biopsy. I have cholangiocarcinoma which is bile duct cancer. Although this is a rare cancer, for some reason there has been a sharp increase in cases. The earlier it is detected the better the chances of survival are. Actually from what I understand, the only chance of cure is through resection. I had a liver resection and they removed my gallbladder at the same time. It had not spread to the gallbladder yet though. Best of luck to you and please feel free to reach out to me if I can be of any help

I would definitely go with the liver biopsy. I had one before I got a definite diagnosis, and it was really easy!

I have gall bladder cancer and the tumour spread to the liver. i had a biopsy done within a few weeks of been diagnosed. It was quick and painless and did help the doctors recommend treatment.
