Had a colonoscopy 6 months ago, pre-cancerous pylops removed.

Had a colonoscopy 6 months ago, pre-cancerous pylops removed.
Dr. wants me to have another colonscopy in 6 months to see if my pylops returned again as pre-cancerous. I have already had cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancer.

How critical is it that I have a repeat colonoscopy done in 6 months?

That really isn't a call that anybody else but you can make based on your priorities. As Clint Eastwood said, "Do you feel lucky?"

I do have a friend who has a rare, rapid growing polyps situation. She has had 6 month colonoscopies for years, and has precancerous polyps removed at every one. She is also a breast cancer survivor.
I would say go for the 6 month colonoscopy. Hopefully, they'll rule out the rapid regrowth polyps, and let you go to a longer interval.
