      Hi Aunt D
I am having my last taxol next tuesday. My tx plan was a total of 8 chemo, and 33 radiation. Chemo was, 1st four one drug, last four taxol. This last one you had, why was it your worst? I am finding this treatment thing is so vast, and specialized for each person, it just gets more confusing and frustrating.

The bone/muscle aches worstened and the fatigue got more intense. I went today for the 6th and had the steriod increased back to original dose. I will see if lowering the steriod last week made the side effects worse...??? The Dr seems to think it may be or it's just the more treatments, the more toxic or all of the above.

Oh, also, don't forget, before the taxol I had already done AC every 3 weeks for 3 months. Could also be adding to the toxic explaination.

Thanks for the feedback. You said you had already done AC..what is AC? I was never asked to reduce or increase steroid. I agree with joint aches, pain in back of legs and constant fatigue. What did you mean by your 5th or this 6th tx is your worst. I am on my last of 8 tx next tuesday. I am hoping nothing extra is to be added. Are you with your original doc?
