I've been fighting breast cancer since (9/11/08) In 2012 the cancer ate my thigh bone from the inside out I had to have a rod placed from my hip down to my knee. I had radiation for a month. My is growng back on my leg but it's white it's alot on my calf but I do see it on my thigh too I'm black so it really looks strange. Has this happen too anybody else???

my hair is growing back on my head and it is white and a weird texture so yes I do believe this is common, mine reminds me of the newborn curly peach fuzz hair

I have a great deal of gray on my head whereas before I had none. I do have less body hair because the treatment put me in menopause. If you had radiation on your thigh it might not grow back. Thats what i was told.

I have most, not all of the hair back on my head and its very tight curl so I went over the the hair product section for women of color and am using the twisted sister brand..I love it.

I have shine and softness to my hair again.

Give it time it might change back to normal.

      All the best,
