Yup - sounds about right... Sorry - that's all I've got! It does pass though.... Congrats on new hair! Mine was as soft as a little baby mouse.

My hair is growing in the same way, scalp doesn't itch though, but like leepenn said, mine is very soft like baby hair. Congrats to your new hair coming in!!!!

I'm right w/you. My scalp itches occasionally. Is occasionally dry and flakey. Is occasionally bumpy. I'm hoping that will calm down once the initial growth is complete. I think it's just those little hair follicles pushing thru that makes it itchy. Hope it gets better.

Mine is like steel wool but its not strong..Be very gentle with it. Use the products that don't have sulfur like the foamless products that are conditioner cleansers. L'oreal has a great product.
And use a leave in conditioner. Just last week I cut off alot of the frizz..Hir is still very curley but no where near as thick as my old hair..But hey,,I am alive...

I'm at a loss to the definition of "rizzy" so I can't comment on that, but depending on your treatment, you can have various stages of drying. I have been having issues with dry skin since starting chemo last September, I have no hair, ( I shave my head) but I had PCI and even had blisters on my scalp for a period of time. I was given a prescription cream to use which helped. Not it's just the dryness, everywhere. Since you still have hair, I would evaluate my hair care products. Don't use anything with alcohol or sulfur; and this includes shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, hairspray or gel... and try to use a trusted brand such as Neutrogena or Aveeno. Good Luck!

Yay! Hair is coming back. My head felt like a scrub brush or buzz cut when the hair started coming back. I used a good moisturizer on my head when it itched. Seemed to help.

Thanks everyone for the great answers! I will use the tip about products. No flacks or dandruff, the itching is so intense, but as you have said I am alive, shouldn't complain. I am not complaining just wanted to know if there was something i could do. Thank you all again. Prayers are with us all
