My last chemo was 11/11/14 and by 2/15 my eyelashes and eyebrows fell out. My onc said it was pretty normal for the delay

I had eyebrows and eyelashes through chemo but lost them a month or two after the last infusion. I can't remember how long it took for them to grow back. HUGS and God bless!

Mine fell out after chemo too. I thought I would escape without that, but no! They do eventually kind of come back. My eyebrows were never great, in terms of those beautiful arching full brows - so I draw them in. I feel eyebrows add to my expression and I don't like not having them. Eyelashes have come back for the most part - I think they are a bit shorter and again, they were never full long lashes, but I make it work. Hugs!

That's pretty standard. The good news is that eyelashes grow in three tiers, so you'll probably have regrowth in one before losing another. If you are no longer receiving chemo, you're unlikely to lose them completely. My lashes took awhile to fill in but now they are as long and thick as they ever were. My eyebrows, on the other hand, have remained pretty sketchy even 7 years later. Hugs to you!

My lashes came back better then they've been in a long time, not sure why. My eyebrows never really have come back, they weren't that thick before. I used draw them in every day, got tired of that so now only do them if we are going out.

3 yrs since I lost my eyebrows and eyelashes. Still don't have eyebrows and I got tiny stubby little eyelashes... FYI use to have big bushy eyebrows that I'd have to shape and beautiful long eyelashes that didn't need mascara. It's been quite a shock but I decided that XXX I've been there and back...XXX that is. My eyebrows and eyelashes(or lack of) are my scar marks from my wounds. I will wear them proudly because I worked XXX hard on staying alive... Hugs it does get easier... I'd draw them in but that would probably be worse for me...lol

Also about 3 years out from chemo, and my lashes came back in pretty well. Forget the eyebrows, though. I've gotten good at drawing on my left, but still (!) figuring out the right. I'm probably the only one that notices that they never quite match!

My eyebrows returned to normal but eyelashes are not as thick or as long as they were prior to chemo.

After Chemo in '06, hair, brows & lashes came back to nearly normal. This time around, hair's different; brows are thin; lashes are short & few. I'm also on Xeloda every 3 weeks. I've just now had to shave my legs after a year. Each of us is different so we can expect different results. I use a little XXX shadow to fill in the brows. Mascara is out. Use some neutral shadow to brighten my eyes so I don't look sick. Tinted moisturizer is wonderful. Now to shed the 10# that I've gained since last October.
