    Hair loss again

I finished chemo about 1 month ago. My hair started growing back. Today I notice it was falling out like when I first started chemo. Has anyone experienced this??????

I noticed that you are 46, the hair loss can be do to premenopause. I remember losing clumps of hair right before and during menopause. You might want to check with your oncology team about this, just to be on the safe side. There's a blood test my gyn performed to confirm that I was entering menopause.

When I was on Aromasin (one of the AI's) my hair thinned...but not on the other AI's....and I was post menopausal at the time....there can be a lot of reasons for hair issues....agree with SueRAe to talk to your doctor.

If you're only one month post chemo your hair follicles might still be getting their act together. Most people one month post chemo don't yet have enough hair to notice if it's falling out.

Lost all brows and lashes about six weeks out. Did not notice any more hair loss though.

I finished about the same time as you. I don't think any is falling out, however I don't have much, and the front (smack in the middle) is really taking it's time to grow. I did notice that I am losing more eyelashes...the brows thinned, but holding there own. But u never know things seem to change day to day. I am so bloated I feel I could float away...So much for the 9 bls I lost before I started treatment...

I would guess the first hair to return is very new and fragile, and it will have another come back! Mine came back curly, then straightened and now is pretty normal, it just grows slower than it used to.

When my hair started to grow back, I had a very short and fine layer that grew in and fell out. Then it grew in again for good! It was a slow process and the front was slower than the rest, but eventually it all came back - dark, wavy - but a bit finer/thinner. It's all good, tho!
