    Has anyone been continent 6-weeks after surgery?

      Pretty close to that....and having had Salvage Radiation ...I'm still good at two years out ...:)

      Short answer, yes. - I had very little leakage after the catheter was removed 21 days post surgery. I only wore a pad for a week. I consider myself to have been particularly lucky in that respect. Subsequent luck has been less plentiful. The metastatic part really should not have happened but for some bad luck. Now of course we are working on that issue with some success so luck has returned.

      I am 8 weeks post surgery and down to 2 pads for 24 hours. I was dry in the night immediately following the catheter removal, but wear a pad occasionally at night. Otherwise, change it at 2 or 3 to freshen up, then I am good for the rest of the day.
