If you have not been to www.Thyca.org, I would strong suggest using that website and taking advantage of the support from other thyroid cancer survivors/patients. The Thyca website is much more specific to Thyroid cancer and should be your best resource for receiving good solid answers to your questions. You can also seek person-to-person (one-on-one) on that site. That site and the people have been huge in my return to a normal life. Good Luck to you!

I have had thyroid cancer twice, I do not know the precise diagnosis since the records of the first time have been destroyed. I do know that the first time it was caused by exposure to radiation and had spread to my lymph nodes before being found. If you ever need to talk however, I have been around many people who have done this fight. The Thyca website that carolina mentioned is extremely good for all kinds of information on thyroid cancer. Feel very free to contact me, Tracy
