      Hello,

I found this website with lots of patient comments on Taxol.

      http://www.askapatient.com/viewrating.asp?drug=20262&name=TAXOL

You can look up other drugs too just to get other people's reactions to them.

      Hopefully this helps you out.

      Best Wishes

Have been on taxol for a while. As everyone said, it is different for everyone, and sometimes even different from week to week for me. Taxol is not the worst I have been on. Side effects pass after a few days. Make sure you stay hydrated and eat anything you want, even if it is a little bit at a time. You will be tired. I try not to nap, I would rather sleep thru the night. Just listen to your body. If something is too much, stop doing it. Just keep remembering that it is a good drug.

I had no side effects from Taxol except hair loss. I took it 3x a month for 4 1/2 months. I drove myself, did everything as usual. But then again, it only worked for awhile. The first month, the cancer dropped dramatically but after a couple of months it began rapidly going up again and we stopped it. I am not on adriamyacin and cisplatin.

I did get a blood clot after don't know if it was chemo or cancer.
