Has anyone crowd-sourced their cancer treatment?

Watch this amazing TED talk from Italian artist Salvatore Iaconesi who decided to crowd-source his treatment for brain cancer!

Corbin is doing fairly well. He was actually released from his long term stay at the hospital a few weeks ago and went home. He has since been back there a few times but mostly for a day or two and then released back home. He still needs to be tube fed and now requires oxygen, but overall considering everything he is doing as well as can be expected. His mom takes him outside a lot and trys to treat him as normally as possible. I know it is tough for her and its not like Corbin will ever be able to lead a normal life but for now he is doing ok,

My heart hurts for Corbin, his parents, his grandparents. I hate, hate, hate to see a little one suffer. And, I know it is heart wrenching for those who love him most. Big hugs and prayers.
