has anyone done the gamet of treatment: radiochemo, brachy and ending w/chemo (carbo/taxol)

I am finding it difficult to deal with all the upcoming treatments and would welcome any experiences women have had with them

Hi, It is easy to become overwhelmed with it all. Take one treatment at a time one week at a time. Don't look up statistics they don't matter! My diagnosis of HER2 neu positive blah blah... 3 surgeries Lumpectomy, Brachy. Radiation, Chemo: HTC-herceptin/taxol./carboplatin every three weeks. Now getting just the Herceptin yay! Each treatment has it's own bunch of nonsense. Looking so far down the road is too much. Just one week at a time. I would be happy to give you specifics on my experiences just let me know.

I'm not sure what you consider the gamut, but I have a variety. Several surgeries, radiation twice, hormone therapy twice, chemo, targeted therapy. I agree with what jaybird said. Focus in the first one and when that is done the next one and so on. You'll be surprised how quickly it becomes routine.
