Hello, I noticed your question and I am an oncology nurse. Remicade is a monoclonal antibody that is used in the treatment of RA. They can be given concurrently as long as you are monitored. Keep in mind that Remicade will stifle your immune system and chemo can lower your white count but used in consort, Remicade can enhance the effect of the chemo and keep it in your system longer. Methotrexate has the same effect and is also used to combat RA. BEST of luck to you. If you have never had Remicade just make sure you keep away from those who have viruses and make that extra effort to avoid any bacterial infection as well. Take care, Carm.
