Has anyone gotten hair extensions or a weave after their hair started growing back from chemo?

I'm so tired of not having the long hair that I had before my cancer diagnosis... it feels like it's growing so so. I'm wondering if anyone got a weave or extensions after their hair started growing back and if they thought that was a good idea or not?

That's a good question. Even though I am still going through treatment, my hair is growing back WAAAY darker than it ever was and I was thinking about coloring it. However; I have no idea if this hair is real fragile. I will keep an eye on this question...

My hair is two inches long eighteen months after R-CHOP made me bald. I am about to lose it again but have read about a Shampoo called Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy - 'Fast'. You can read reviews of it on Amazon. I aim to give it a go. It's designed to use when hair has been lost through chemotherapy not for male-pattern baldness or to make short hair longer.

One of my close colleague had used human hair extensions to hide her hair loss due to chemo. She had ordered them from http://www.ludischarminginstinct.com online and found them quite good and of the best quality.
